Foods That Burn Belly Fat And Other Body Fats Fast

Has that extra kg on the scale or the belly fat in view got you searching Google for foods that burn fat fast? Maybe you’ve decided that the gym isn’t really for you and you’d rather eat your way to less body fat. However, all your digging on Google hasn’t yielded many answers. Don’t fret, you’ve come to the right place.

We know “fat-burning” food sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t as far-fetched as you may think. While it has not been fully confirmed if one food type can burn fat on its own, experts all agree that you can see results by incorporating more kinds of food that spike metabolism, enhance digestion, and help you feel full.

Although all foods spike metabolism, there are some that stimulate metabolism more than others. These are the foods that burn fat fast around the belly and all over the body and they also reduce appetite and overall food intake. So, whether you’re vegetarian, pescatarian, or a free-eater, you can enrich your diet with these foods that do the hard work for you.

Check out these 7 food types that burn fat fast…

#1. Oats

Don’t you just love oatmeal? The versatility of this food adds to making it a favorite of many, but it may also be what you need to shed some fat! Oats are rich in beta-glucan, an insoluble fiber that absorbs water and slows digestion and glucose, or blood sugar absorption.

According to Ashley Larsen, RDN and owner of AshleyLarsen Nutrition, “Soluble beta-glucan fiber has been shown to be beneficial for insulin resistance and weight loss, specifically abdominal fat loss because it helps to keep you full and reduces hunger cravings.” (Per Parade.com).

#2. Plain Greek yogurt

Other than improving your bone health and being the perfect complement to your favorite smoothie, Greek yogurt also assists in burning fat. Considering that yogurt is a thriving culture of beneficial bacteria, a.k.a, probiotics, they are really good for your gut health. A healthy gut regulates metabolism which in turn benefits your overall health.

#3. Pepper

Pepper in foods seems to curb appetite, give a fuller stomach, and make you eat less. Maybe it’s because you have to drink a lot of water to douse the burning taste in your mouth or because of capsaicin, the spicy chemical itself. Whichever it is, pepper is one fat-burning food to incorporate into your diet now.

#4. Raw vegetables

Raw veggies are so crunchy, you won’t miss chips. Okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but they’re a good alternative because they’re low in calories, they keep you hydrated, filled, and most importantly, they contribute to boosting your immune system.

#5. Nuts

Although rich in calories, eating nuts in controlled portions help you reduce hunger and improve your cholesterol level which would ultimately lead to weight loss. They’re also rich in proteins and the kind of fat that’s good for the heart. Try out nuts with their shells as you’ll eat less if you have to keep taking the shell off first. But remember to wash your hands before and after handling the nuts. It’s proper hygiene.

#6. Beans

Beans are a great source of fiber, protein, and are relatively low in fats. They’re also super filling with very few calories. A lot of people avoid beans because it upsets the stomach but if cooked right, this waistline-shrinking-miracle is nothing short of a delicacy.

#7. Lean meat

Red meat, albeit tasty, is not such a great choice as they are high in fat. Lean meat, on the other hand, burns more calories and digests faster. Feast on variations such as skinless chicken and turkey, seafood, eggs, etc., to reduce fat by half. I don’t know about you, but that’s a welcome math.

This list is inexhaustible, but by including these foods in your diet, your weight loss journey is off on a good foot. However, also remember to incorporate portion control and an active lifestyle (not necessarily hectic exercise) for an even more incredible result.
